Microflite is a dynamic and exciting aviation company, providing luxury charter and specialist aerial work services to discerning clients, and advanced training to licensed pilots. We have ongoing contracts to provide advanced firefighting and search and rescue services in Victoria and interstate. Our charter services are designed to provide luxurious bespoke experiences and tourism packages to clients who appreciate discretion and sophistication. We operate a large fleet of turbine-engine helicopters, including the latest variants of popular aircraft.

Microflite recruits experienced pilots and instructors. As our operations include single and twin engine helicopters conducting high-end charter, search and rescue, firefighting, sling and longline, NVIS, NVFR, IFR and other advanced helicopter operations, Microflite has strict minimum experience and qualification requirements for pilot and instructor positions.

Our engineering department maintains an extensive fleet of Microflite and client owned helicopters, and provides a modern and evolving workplace for LAME and AME with a diverse range of skills.

Apprentices form part of Microflite’s valued Engineering team.

Microflite’s flight and engineering departments are supported by efficient management, administration and client services teams that provide support and assistance to personnel.

Microflite is looking for a friendly, engaging, well presented and enthusiastic person to join our team in our city offices. This is a full-time casual role, involving weekend work.

Microflite operates Victoria’s largest fleet of turbine engine helicopters, specialising in luxury charter services to discerning local and international tourists. Microflite is also a leading operator in rotary-wing aerial work and para-public services.

We are looking for someone to work from our city offices who is organised, has outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a highly professional manner.

This position will be a casual role, five days a week including both days of the weekend.

Your duties are responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Answering and directing telephone enquiries
  • Greeting clients in person
  • Providing clients with refreshments
  • Providing information on tours, services, and major events
  • Taking bookings and updating company databases
  • Processing payments
  • General administrative duties, data entry, and office housekeeping
  • Liaising with Management, pilots, and administrative team members
  • Liaison with external parties in regard to landing permissions, ground transport, destination bookings etc.
The successful applicant will have:
  • Advanced customer service skills including an excellent phone manner
  • Excellent presentation
  • A high standard of computer skills
  • Willingness to deliver excellence to demanding and VIP customers
  • Pride in your professional abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a complex and changing environment

  • Previous receptionist / customer service experience preferred but not essential

We are looking for someone to work from our Moorabbin Head Office customer lounge who is organised, has outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a highly professional manner.

This position will be a salaried permanent role, five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday), with on-the-job training and opportunities for career development.

Your duties are responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Answering telephone enquiries
  • Greeting clients in person
  • Providing clients with refreshments
  • Providing information on tours, services, and major events
  • Taking bookings and updating company databases
  • Processing payments
  • General administrative duties, data entry, and office housekeeping

  • Quotation and confirmation of bespoke and group charter flights
  • Liaison with external parties in regard to landing permissions, ground transport, destination bookings etc.
  • Preparation and distribution of passenger manifests
  • Organisation and administration of flights to and from major events
  • Administration and management of the client database
The successful applicant will have:
